Development of a new school masterplan comprising a series of affordable projects to enable ArtsEd to improve learning and performance spaces within the existing school buildings and site. These included major interventions like the creation of two significantly improved performance spaces as well as simple rationalisations of teaching and rehearsal studies.
The projects were carefully packaged together to enable the building work to proceed whilst the school remained safe and operational. The first phase – creation of a 200-seat theatre with horseshoe balconies – was completed in 2014.
